OCF President Signs Construction Contract

Rejoice. The Lord has taken us far enough along in the Growing and Building Campaign that Major General Jim Coggin, the OCF President, was able to sign the six-million-dollar construction contract on 16 October to begin building the Heritage House at White Sulphur Springs.

Pictured is Mr. Dan Riggs, the President of Somerset Steel Erectors, Inc., and General Coggin signing the contract as OCF Executive Director Lieutenant General Bruce Fister and the rest of the project team look on.

SSE is currently mobilizing equipment on site and forming the construction team. Pending permits, we will begin excavation in early November.

The formal groundbreaking is set for Veterans Day, 11 November 2009.
