LTC Paul and Dawn Robyn, USA (Ret.)

 

LTC Paul W. Robyn, USA (Retired), is the Center Director at White Sulphur Springs, the eastern conference center of Officers’ Christian Fellowship.

After graduation from West Point, Paul served initially in the Field Artillery, in both self-propelled cannon and rocket units, including operational deployments to Kuwait and Somalia. His assignments with the Field Artillery culminated with command of an MLRS battery. After command, Paul earned a master’s degree (MPA) from Princeton University and then taught Economics and Political Science while assigned to the faculty at West Point. Following that assignment, he served as the Speechwriter and Special Assistant to the Commander of US Army forces in the Pacific while stationed in Hawaii. His next assignment was to US Army Central Command (USARCENT), where he served in various strategic planning roles including: Chief of Special Plans, Chief of Operational Design and as the Deputy Director of the Commander’s Initiatives Group. His final assignment on active duty was as a Strategic Planner for Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT). After retirement from active duty, Paul spent nearly two years as a Strategy Consultant with a small business strategy firm in Atlanta, GA, called Geo Strategy Partners.

LTC Robyn and his wife, Dawn, have been married 22 years and live in Mann’s Choice, PA, with their five daughters: Meredith, Emily, Abby, Anna and Joy. He has been actively involved in OCF since entering West Point in 1988 and has enjoyed many ministry opportunities over the years including teaching, hospitality, counseling, discipleship and leading worship. 

God is using OCF’s eastern conference center to bring biblical truth into the lives of active-duty and retired military individuals and families. Teaching, discussions, fun and challenging activities, balanced with prayer, fellowship, and quiet reflection are all facets of the ministry. “Come let us and the wonderful Ministry Team here at White Sulphur Springs bless and serve you in the love of Jesus Christ so that you are refreshed, renewed and ready to be a blessing to others when you leave this special place.” 

Activities include:

  • Summer, winter camps
  • Specialized programs: Allegheny Outback!, Junior AO!, Youth/Parent Adventure weekend, and Camp Caleb
  • Retreats: ROTC, USMA, USNA, OCF groups, chaplains, regional churches
