This special issue honors the Newly Commissioned Officers who are OCF members. Congratulations and may God bless you at your new assignments.

Thoughts for Young Officers by CDR Tom Thompson, USN (Ret.)
(pages 1 & 8) Before leaving Annapolis as the OCF staff representative recently, CDR Thompson shared some of his thoughts for new officers. Tom is now a counselor for Hindsight Biblical Counseling. CDR Bryan and Sherri Burt, USN (Ret.) are the new OCF staff representatives at Annapolis.

Mark Your Calendar (page 1)
The European Thanksgiving Retreat brochure is now on the OCF website. You can access it online or contact Mark Benz at chbenz@hotmail.com

Sign up for an OCF winter retreat today through the Spring Canyon or White Sulphur Springs websites. Send any calendar items that are open to fellow OCFers for inclusion on our print and web calendars via ocfdenver@ocfusa.org Attn. Karen.

Quarterly Letter by General Bruce Fister (page 2)
General Fister speaks directly to the new graduates, congratulating them on their “double commissioning” as officers and as ambassadors for Christ in uniform.

Newly Commissioned Officers list (pages 3-5) We encourage OCF members to seek out and welcome any newly commissioned officers who are coming to your location. Invite them to your OCF group!

Connections (pages 6 & 7) Unfortunately, the Military Leadership Conference has been cancelled since we went to print with this issue of Connected.

Please remember OCF (#10531) as you register for another year of Combined Federal Campaign. We LOVE to receive photos and captions from OCF groups around the world! Send yours to us at ocfdenver@ocfusa.org today!
