OCF Minnesota
The OCF fellowship in Minnesota is organized to provide Christian fellowship between active, retired, former officers, and ROTC students in the Twin Cities area and beyond.
We provide opportunities for ROTC students to rub shoulders with current and former officers to share experiences and to help prepare for active duty; as well as provide for a chance to take a few hours off from hectic campus life.
OCF Minnesota has a working relationship with Campus Crusade VALOR Ministries to assist each other with student programs.

Annual Dinner
The Minnesota OCF Annual Dinner is set for 3 February 2012. The dinner is held at the Fort Snelling Officers' Club on Post Road. For directions call the club at 612-767-1960. The speaker is Major General Jerry White, USAF (Retired), who is President Emeritus and Chairman Emeritus of the U.S. Board of Directors of The Navigators, an international Christian organization working with college students, military personnel, business and professional people and churches.
Dr. White graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in electrical engineering and a commission in the U.S. Air Force having participated in the ROTC. In 1964 he received a Master's Degree in Astronautics from The Air Force Institute of Technology and in 1970 earned his Ph.D. in Astronautics from Purdue University.
During his 13 ½ years of active duty he served in many capacities, including an assignment as a mission controller at Cape Kennedy during the height of the American space program. He also was an associate professor of astronautics at the Air Force Academy in Colorado for six years. General White resigned from active service in 1973, and then spent 24 years in the Air Force Reserves in a number of assignments, retiring July 1, 1997.
Jerry and his wife, Mary, have written thirteen books on practical topics such as work, ethics, and parenting adult children. In addition to his work with The Navigators, Dr. White is a nationally competitive handball player, a licensed commercial pilot, and an active member of his local church. He and his wife have four children, 11 grandchildren, and live in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
All local supporters of OCF are invited to the dinner. Reservations are required with Karl Bakke at kande@usfamily.net.
