Anchor Points is OCF’s annual missions-focused, week-long conference, designed to help you develop a more effective spiritual leadership focus for a lifetime.

Join OCF’s Executive Director and members of his leadership team in an examination of the Scriptures regarding calling and leadership to glorify God as we serve the military community together. We will examine member-led ministry methodologies, develop a personal mission statement, and pray about how to serve within the context of your phase of life (single, married, kids). This leader development week is for those in uniform, out of uniform, and for military family members. Participants from past years now serve as leaders in their local church and as OCF Local Leaders, Hospitality Home hosts, OCF Council members, OCF staff, and some are on the staff with fellow gospel-driven military ministries.

Anchor Points derives its name from the imagery of multiple rock climbing “anchor points” that combine to create a “master point.” The master point provides climbers a strong anchor for staying secure upon a rock face. Similarly, God has created each person in the body of Christ so that we connect to one another. In this way, we help each other stay anchored in our calling to make Him known in every area of our personal and professional lives.

Concurrent Programs Available: Summer R&R #3, Horsemanship Day Camp (ages 8+), Camp Caleb Day Camp on June 29 (2nd-3rd grade), Camp Caleb Adventure (5th-6th grade), and Camp Caleb Challenge (7th-8th grade), and Allegheny Outback! Advanced (11th-12th grade)

There is no vacation like Summer R&R at White Sulphur Springs. We understand that everyone coming through the Heritage House doors has a different definition of what vacation means to them. With a variety of ways to tailor each experience, guests have the opportunity to experience God’s rest in many exciting ways. Summer R&R is divided into eight weeklong sessions, each with a unique speaker and theme so you can find the one just right for you!

Horsemanship Day Camp is a great opportunity for kids (ages 8+) attending our Summer R&R program to learn more about horses. Our Wranglers teach aspiring equestrians basic horse anatomy, the essentials of riding equipment, techniques for tacking and grooming a horse, walking and trotting instructions for beginners, and then they’ll all hit the trails to gain real-world experience! Daily devotionals throughout the experience will focus on the lessons we can learn from one of God’s most majestic creatures.

A five-day traditional summer camp program with age-specific programs for rising 2nd-8th graders, Camp Caleb brings military youth into an authentic personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to strengthen their own family and peer relationships, and to prepare them for standing for Jesus Christ as teenagers.

A six-day program for rising 9th graders through recent high school graduates, Allegheny Outback! challenges teens to develop their very own personal knowledge of God by modeling Christ in real-life situations with plenty of adventure along the way. For this particular week of the summer, however, we are instead offering the new Allegheny Outback! Advanced program, available only to rising juniors and seniors who have previously experienced Allegheny Outback!. This new Allegheny Outback! Advanced adventure provides the perfect challenge to develop teens’ leadership skills through a variety of opportunities with their fellow campers.
