During Resurrection Retreat 2023, we will contemplate resurrection through corporate reflection, historical inspection, personal introspection, and practical application. We will consider resurrection realities, weigh resurrection realizations, enjoy resurrection’s implications for—and invitation to—repentance, reformation, restoration, and readiness!

About the topic: “Resurrection changes things!”

Christ’s resurrection from the dead is the turning point of history and is pivotal to those whose hearts are turned in faith, as well as to those who’ve turned their heads in disbelief. Christ’s life and death lack significant historical and spiritual substance without the reality of resurrection.

About the speaker: Chaplain Michael Will, USA (Ret)

Michael Will was introduced to WSS by Chip and Kristin Huey during the summer of 2017. Since then, WSS has become a very important part of life for Michael and his family. Michael and Christy, his beloved bride of twenty-five years, are the proud parents of Emma Grace, Noah, Micah, and Elijah – two of whom have served in the EXSEL Discipleship Program.

Michael was called to ministry early in life, preaching his first sermon at the age of fifteen. He has pastored churches in Ohio and Canada, and is currently serving Grace E.C. Church in Knox, PA as the Associate Pastor of Discipleship. Michael enlisted in the United States Army in 1992 and later commissioned in 2014 as a Chaplain, “the best job in the Army.” Though no longer in military service, Michael continues to love, and desires to serve, military personnel and their families!

Nightly meals & lodging rates are as follows: $88/adult/night, $44/teen (ages 13-17)/night, $33/youth (ages 3-12)/night, and ages 0-4 receive free meals & lodging.
