Speaker: CH(COL) Chip Huey, USA

Topic: “The Church… Love it? Leave it? Need it?”

About the Topic: Sexual abuse. Toxic leadership. False teaching. Irrelevance. These are some of the issues and accusations which Christians and non-Christians alike level against the Church.

Is this really the Bride of Christ? Yet the Church is the most important organization in the history of the world and the only one that lasts for eternity. What then should be our relationship with Her? We’ll answer this question through the prism of Scripture and the Nicene Creed.

About the Speaker: Chip Huey has served as an active duty Army chaplain for over 28 years. He received his Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Masters of Strategic Studies from the Army War College. Chip and his wife, Kristin, have been married 24 years. They have five children: Isa, Sam, Ethan, Nathan, and Seth, and they are currently in the process of adopting another child from Poland. Although looking forward to retirement from the Army, Chip has a zeal for continuing ministry and loving his family until God calls him home.
