Welcome to USMA OCF

At West Point, we look to develop spiritual leaders for the Army through fellowship, teaching, worship, and Biblical study.

Ministry in Action

About USMA OCF: USMA OCF owns the Fellowship House, which is located outside Thayer Gate in Highland Falls, NY.

As one of West Point’s religious clubs, USMA OCF meets weekly on Tuesday nights at 1930 in Washington Hall 5300 for large group worship. Following this time of worship, we break into small groups organized by year group to study and grow in the Word of God.

Throughout the academic year, we organize retreats to OCF’s White Sulphur Springs Conference Center and for the annual Army-Navy game in addition to hosting events at the Fellowship House. We also gather monthly for men’s and women’s ministry events either on post or at the Fellowship House.

Who We Are

CH(COL) Bob and Tracy Phillips, USA (Ret.)

Bob and Tracy, longtime OCF supporters, ministered to soldiers and their families for 26 years in the Army. After retiring in 2016, Bob served as the Institute Chaplain at the Virginia Military Institute for seven years, followed by a sabbatical year visiting their five children and seven grandchildren. In the summer of 2024, the Phillips began as field staff at USMA. Numerous devoted volunteers assist the USMA OCF ministry in its mission to equip and encourage cadets as they grow in Christlike leadership. In partnership with ministry team volunteers, they facilitate group Bible studies, one-on-one discipleship, retreats, and fellowship events. The USMA OCF Fellowship House, just outside West Point’s Thayer Gate, is open to cadets, friends, and family.
