OCF Executive Director Couple
Col Scott and Christie Fisher, USAF (Ret.)
Scott and Christie retired from the United States Air Force in 2019 after more than 27 years of faithful military service. They bring a strong passion for the Lord and love for His people with experience across six continents. They have been involved in OCF ministry for over 28 years to include service as local leaders across the globe, on Council and to our chaplains. Scott and Christie have been married for 31 years and have three daughters and two sons, one of which serves in the Marines and one in the Army.
Both Scott and Christie are natives of Texas but didn’t meet until the Lord brought them together at a Bible study in Colorado Springs, Colo., less than 30 miles from where they now live in Castle Rock. Scott has led Bible studies since a teenager for diverse groups, including youth, graduate students, young couples, fighter pilots and generals. He has also served as a youth pastor and lay minister. Christie has co-hosted Bible studies with Scott throughout their marriage and served in leadership with Bible Study Fellowship for 14 years.
Scott has a Political Science and International Relations degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University and a Master in Strategic Studies from the Marine War College. Prior to this current role, Scott served in the U.S. Embassy in The Hague, Netherlands, and Baghdad, Iraq. He is an F-16 instructor pilot who commanded a joint group in Iraq and a squadron in Korea. He also has extensive Congressional experience serving three different Secretaries of Defense and the Secretary of the Air Force.
Christie and Scott love serving together and are humbled to minister alongside such amazing staff and lay leaders to equip and encourage the next generation of Christlike military leaders for His kingdom!
