This chapter helps you answer, “What makes OCF unique in the military ministry space?”

Three distinctives can help you encourage others to become co-laborers in the OCF body as you articulate our place alongside other ministries:
1. Member-Led
2. Dual Calling
3. Lifetime Fellowship

"This summer provided a unique opportunity to minister to U.S. Army ROTC cadets who come to EUCOM and AFRICOM for follow-on summer training before their senior year in college."

Thanks to mutual connections through other OCFers, John and his wife Carla got in touch with and opened their home to a group of these cadets last week for a great time of fellowship and rest!

Two ways to pray:
1. Pray for these cadets as they conclude training and prepare for senior year, graduation, and commissioning.
2. Pray for Stuttgart OCFers as many of them face family struggles, which can often prove more challenging while stationed overseas.

As always, visit ocfusa.org/directory to get plugged in to an OCF group near you!

Our vision at OCF is simple: We want the military Our vision at OCF is simple: We want the military community to be positively impacted through Christlike leaders.

This military community is made up of officer, enlisted, dependent, civilian, contractor, and retired personnel—all made in the image of God, valued, and with an eternal soul.

Christian leaders are found within every rank and grade, so we are confident that if OCF’s members are leading and serving with a Christlike stewardship, then there will be parts of the military community where men, women, and children thrive in the freedom to fully use their skills and abilities to leave things better than they found it.

Every Tuesday evening, the NAS Meridian OCF group Every Tuesday evening, the NAS Meridian OCF group enjoys dinner, dessert, and fellowship with Bible study at CAPT Brent and Katie Moore’s house. The group consists of flight students, spouses, kids, a few seasoned officers, and their families, who have been studying the Gospel of Mark together over the past nine months.

Pray that God would strengthen these young aviators and their families as they prepare to leave Mississippi and head out to the fleet as ambassadors for Christ in the Navy and Marine Corps.

And as always, visit ocfusa.org/directory if you're in the area or will be soon to get the Moores' contact info and join their great group!

What seemingly everyday items can you use to make What seemingly everyday items can you use to make an impact for the Kingdom? For CH(COL) Bob Phillips, USA (Ret.), and his family, their greatest resources are their dining room table and living room couches.

@chapbobvmi currently serves as the chaplain to the Corps of Cadets at his own alma mater, Virginia Military Institute. From his role there, he observes that one of the predominant topics of discussion among cadets and college students is anxiety, and Bob shares how he and wife Tracy use relationships and group Bible studies to address anxiety and point VMI cadets back to Christ.

What a joy it was for the Home Office staff to spe What a joy it was for the Home Office staff to spend time with @kgpeck during their visit yesterday! Keith & Gale encouraged us immensely as they led the morning's #ocfdevotional time. They shared their own stories of coming to faith in the Lord and shared verses like this one from Zechariah.

In its original context, the Lord amazingly calls postexilic Jews, facing immense hardship at the time that would render anyone hopeless, "prisoners of hope." He also promises to restore to them double, and the surrounding verses promise the Messiah's coming. The discussion among our staff that followed focused on the immense hope we have in Christ and how we must be ready to give a defense for the hope we have with gentleness and respect as 1 Peter 3:15 says.

What has the Lord been teaching you lately?
