ROMADs are considered Joint Terminal Attack Controllers in training and help coordinate and control attack air assets, surface-to-surface and unmanned aerial vehicles from all branches of the U.S. and Multi-National Military. Perry hometown is Front Royal, Va. and Honick hometown is Pittsburgh, Pa.
